Non-Circumvention and Off-Platform Engagement Policy
1. Purpose and Platform Integrity
Beacon Tutors operates as a structured international marketplace facilitating introductions, demo coordination, and tuition engagements between Teachers, Students, Parents, and Freelancers.
The company allocates operational, promotional, administrative, and verification resources to arrange introductions and demo sessions. This policy exists to protect the integrity of the platform and prevent circumvention of its services.
2. Platform-Originated Introduction
Where Beacon Tutors coordinates, schedules, or facilitates a demo session or introduction between any parties, such introduction shall be deemed platform-originated.
Any present or future engagement arising from such introduction shall remain subject to Beacon Tutors’ policies, regardless of whether tuition commences immediately or at a later time.
3. Defined Non-Circumvention Period
The obligation not to circumvent Beacon Tutors shall remain valid for a minimum period of twelve (12) months from the date of first introduction between the relevant parties.
Any tuition, assignment, freelance service, or academic engagement occurring within this twelve-month period between parties introduced through Beacon Tutors shall be deemed subject to the platform’s applicable fees, commissions, and policies.
4. Prohibited Conduct
No Teacher, Student, Parent, or Freelancer shall:
Delay tuition commencement for the purpose of avoiding applicable platform charges;
Exchange contact details with the intention of bypassing the platform;
Resume contact privately after a demo or initial coordination;
Conduct payment transactions outside the official payment structure;
Re-establish engagement after a pause for the purpose of avoiding fees.
Any such conduct shall constitute circumvention and a material breach of this policy.
5. Reverse Circumvention Reporting Obligation
If any party is approached by another party to conduct off-platform engagement or bypass Beacon Tutors’ system, that party must immediately notify the company.
Failure to report such attempt may result in shared responsibility for circumvention.
Beacon Tutors encourages transparent reporting in order to protect honest users and maintain fairness within the network.
6. Financial Damages and Recovery
In the event of proven circumvention, Beacon Tutors reserves the right to recover:
The full amount of unpaid commission, service fees, or maintenance charges;
Administrative, investigative, and enforcement costs;
Any additional financial loss directly resulting from the breach.
The company reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts involved in circumvention.
7. Fraud and Off-Platform Risk Disclaimer
Beacon Tutors shall bear no responsibility for any financial loss, educational loss, academic damage, misconduct, fraud, or dispute arising from off-platform dealings.
If any party chooses to engage privately outside the platform without notifying the company:
No payment protection shall apply;
No dispute resolution shall be offered;
No refund mechanism shall be provided;
No liability shall be assumed by the company.
If financial or educational damage occurs and Beacon Tutors was not informed in a timely manner prior to such off-platform engagement, the company shall not be held responsible under any circumstances.
8. Confidentiality of Contact Information
All contact information shared for demo coordination or tuition arrangement is provided strictly for platform-authorized purposes.
Use of such information for private off-platform arrangements constitutes misuse and breach of policy.
9. Enforcement Authority
Beacon Tutors reserves the right, where permitted by law, to investigate suspected circumvention, review engagement patterns, request clarification from involved parties, and take appropriate corrective action.
All enforcement decisions shall be made at the sole discretion of the company and shall be considered final.
10. Acknowledgment
By participating in demo sessions, applying for tuition, making payments, or engaging in services through Beacon Tutors, all parties acknowledge and agree to comply fully with this Non-Circumvention Policy.
